Privacy statement

We keep this short and plain. We only collect what we need to send you your kit and, if you ask for it, an email when something opens.
Who is responsible

What we collect and why
- The waitlist: your email address and, if you choose to tell us, which pieces you'd wear, which top you'd pick and your size, only if you sign up. We use these answers to decide what to make and how many of each size (consent, art. 6(1)(a)). We email you when the shorts open; if you also tick “news now and then”, we send you news about new pieces and batches as well, and only then. It is stored with our hosting provider, Netlify. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to our email or writing to us.
- When you email us: what you send us, to answer you (legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f)).
- When you visit the site: our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps short technical logs, such as your IP address, for security. We don’t use analytics, tracking or advertising.
Who else sees your data
- Our hosting provider, Netlify, which hosts this site and stores the waitlist.
- Our email provider, Strato (Germany), which hosts our mailbox, so it holds the emails you send us and the ones we send you.
We have data processing agreements with the parties that work for us. Some of them may process data outside the EU, for example in the United States. That only happens with the protection the GDPR requires, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.

Cookies
This site doesn’t set cookies, and the fonts are loaded from our own server, so a visit sends nothing to Google or other third parties.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, to limit how we use it, to object to it, or to receive it in a file you can take elsewhere. Email hello@wearmymiddle.com; we answer within one month. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or the authority in your own EU country.
Security and changes
We protect your data with appropriate measures, such as an encrypted connection and accounts with strong passwords. When this statement changes, we update the date at the top.
